The wages of your sin in Adam

The atonement for your sin by Christ

The wages of sin is the curse
Then to Adam God said, Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying,
You shall not eat of it -- Cursed is the ground for your sake. Gen 3.17
To atone, Jesus became a curse for you
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law,
having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree") Gal 3.13
The wages of sin is nakedness
So Adam said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was
naked; and I hid myself." Gen 3.10
To atone, Jesus was stripped naked
Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus,
took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. John 19.23a
The wages of sin is sorrow
And to Adam God said, Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it! The ground is cursed for your sake. In
sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life. Gen 3.17
To atone, Jesus became The Man of Sorrows
He is despised and rejected of men; a
Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as it were a hiding of faces from Him, He being despised, and we esteemed Him not. Isa 53.3
The wages of sin is pain and suffering
To the woman God said, I will greatly increase your sorrow and your conception.
In pain you shall bear sons, and your desire shall be toward your husband, and he shall rule over you. Gen 3.16
To atone, Jesus was beaten beyond human likeness
I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting.
Isa 50.6

His appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and
His form marred beyond human likeness Isa 52.14b

It shall also bring forth
thorns and thistles to you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. Gen 3.18

Then Jesus came out wearing the
crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, Behold the man! John 19.5
The wages of sin is sweat
In the
sweat of your face you shall eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are, and to dust you shall return. Gen 3.19
To atone, Jesus sweat drops of blood
And being in an agony Jesus prayed more earnestly. And
His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Luke 22.44

And God drove out the man. And He placed cherubs at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming
sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. Gen 3.24
  To atone, Jesus was pierced
But one of the soldiers
pierced His side with a lance, and instantly there came out blood and water. John 19.34

And God drove out the man. Gen 3.24a

But your iniquities have come between you and your God, and
your sins have hidden His face from you, from hearing. Isa 59.2

And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is,
My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?

The wages of sin is death
[God commanded...] Of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Gen 2.17

Therefore, even as through one man sin entered into the world, and
death by sin, and so death passed on all men inasmuch as all sinned Rom 5.12
To atone, Christ died for you
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, that
He by the grace of God should taste death for every son. Heb 2.9

But God commends His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners
Christ died for us. Rom 5.8

I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me. John 14.6
The wages of sin is... *Paid in FULL!*
For the wages of sin is death, but
the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 6.23
Because of the atonement, in Christ you have Eternal Life!
For as
in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Cor 15.22
